03:42 pm - Bored...
I finally managed to get chapter 13 of Still Delicate up and running. It's completely different from what I had planned for it.
I really can't wait to finish SD so I can move on to something new and fresh. I'm thinking something darker. There's only so much humour you can take after a while. On top of that, SD isn't as 'plot driven' as I would have liked, so it's becoming something of a chore to write. I do have lots of little sub-plots planned, but there doesnt seem to be one main plot that everything revolves around. Like Delicate had the pregnancy - this just has Rose's unrequited love and how she's fucking up her life. It really is kind of depressing when you think about it.
Only ten days until HBP! I'm getting kind of excited now - I really hope I'm not disappointed. Like I was with OoTP. Yuck.
I'm bored now. And I can't think of anything more to write.

09:12 pm - Busy bee is me...
I've been kind of busy lately, which explains the delay in getting chapter 13 of Still Delicate under way. I've been painting and working 'round the house, so it's been a bit mental at the minute! Also, getting a bit of writer's block with chapter 13...there are just some boring chapters I have to get out of the way before I can get on to the more interesting stuff (Jenny's hen weekend, for instance *wink wink*) I blame this writer's block on the number 13. It's always been unlucky for me...
Yaysies! I got the job of Newsletter Editor on The Golden Snitches, meaning I'm now a staff member! I'm so excited! I've said it before - JOIN THE GOLDEN SNITCHES! And participate in the Quidditch World Cup (chudley cannons *cough*) Link is >>>here<<<
Band of the moment for me are MGMT. Look at me, I'm mainstream!
Movie of the moment is Slumdog Millionaire. And I'm thinking it'll be Movie of the Year for me too!
TV Show of the moment is Skins - the first two seasons. First generation for life!
Book of the moment is A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz. Funny shit. Very very funny!
Song of the moment is Days Like This by Van Morrison.

02:25 am - Writer's Block: Teen Time Machine
I've always felt like I was born waaaaaaaaay after my time. So if I had a timeturner and could just zoom on back to any decade, I would definitely live in the 1970s. Also, I would live in America.
See, if I was a 1970s teenager, my crush on Al Pacino would seem fairly normal considering he was in his 30s, not his late 60s, and my love for all of the amazing movies made in the 70s would be expected. See, when I tell people my favourite movie is Dog Day Afternoon, they think I'm referring to some unheard-of Disney film. On top of that, I could be all like 'I loved Elton John BEFORE he was famous'.... Damn - WHY couldn't I have been born fifty years ago??

06:11 pm - Writer's Block: Significant Choices
I've decided to use one of these writer's block thingys, because I have nothing else to do.
It's a pretty interesting question. I mean, we'd all like to think we'd pick our friends, right? But it if it actually came down to a clear cut choice - him (or her) or them? I suppose it depends on a lot of things.
Firstly, the situation at hand. I'm going to use 'he' when referring to the significant other, because I'm a straight female. If he says 'I hate your friends, you have to choose between me or them', then it's pretty obvious who you choose - your mates. He is obviously a prick. Likewise, if your friends say 'we don't like him, he's a bit fat', you're hanging with the wrong crowd. Of course, it rarely actually comes down to this. You're usually stuck between 'they're my friends, they know best, and friends are for life' and 'god, he's hot...and nice...and he loves me in a way my friends don't...' Secondly, it depends on what age you are. When you're fourteen, there's no point in picking a guy (or girl) over your friends, because the chances are you're not going to be with that person for long. Your friends are hugely important to you as a teenager, but priorities change as you get older. Think about it, those of you whose parents are married - would your Mum choose her friend over your Dad? No. She probably wouldn't even choose her own sister over your Dad. Well, I know mine wouldn't.
Now the question is which I would choose. I'm nineteen years old, so I still loosely fall into the teenager category. However, a number of my friends have been known to choose their 'significant other' over us, but it doesn't bother me as much anymore as it did when I was younger. Like I said, priorities change. At the moment, I don't really have a significant other. The person who comes closest to my significant other isn't really my boyfriend, so I would of course choose my friends over him. They've supported me through a lot more crap than he has. That could change a few months down the line - love does weird things to people, not always in a good way.
Okay, this answer was much longer and more serious than I hoped it would be. Sorry about that! It doesn't really make much sense, reading over it now. Pity. My fingers are tired.

02:52 am - Can't remember where... I read a really really funny Twilight review a few months ago. The link to it was up on the HPFF forums, but I'm guessing it was deleted because I can't find it. (BTW - The forums are offline at the minute, anybody know why??)
Anyway, this review was basically ripping the piss out of Twilight. I'm really not a fan of it, and this review really cracked me up. I think I read it on livejournal, but I'm not sure. Does anyone remember it? Or know where I could find it? No offence to Twilight fans of course, I'm just up for a bit of a giggle!

Okay, my last entry was cut short by my stupid computer exiting out of this page by accident - that's what I get for buying such a CRAPPY laptop! I've cooled down now. No more crying over spilt milk (or deleted blog in this case).
So the Quidditch World Cup is taking place on both the HPFF forums and The Golden Snitches forum, which you can find >>here<< If you're into Harry Potter fanfiction, I seriously recommend you join TGS. It's a lot of fun and less strict than the HPFF forums (though there still are rules, so you still gotta read 'em!) I've been a lot more involved in TGS World Cup, because I find it more fun for some reason. Anyway, as a result, I've been kind of slow on updating. My bad. Also, I was away on holidays for a week.
The next chapter of Still Delicate should be up within a few days. I have 1800 words written. It's one of those chapters where I can't seem to get motivated to write. Some chapters I can have out in an hour, others take days. Such is life.
And I have posted yet another new story. It's a missing moments story about the Ron/Hermione ship. So if you're into that kind of thing, please check it out! If you're not, then don't get annoyed when you read it and realise that it IS set in the Hogwarts era. Obviously.
Enough fanfic talk - I'm in a waffling mood. I watched the movie 'Best In Show' recently. If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend it. If you're a dog person, if you enjoyed the movie 'This Is Spinal Tap', if you like to laugh your arse off then WATCH THIS MOVIE! It's very very very very funny - has anybody seen it? I'm actually just cracking up right now thinking about it - I'm kind of sad. Anyway, I'm gone off waffling now. Yeah, that didn't take long. I'm gonna go. Keep safe! Wear suncream! :D

01:26 am I don't really understand the blogging experience. I mean, I understand why people do it, I'm just not sure how to do it. I don't have anything of that much interest to say, and on top of that, not that many people even read this. So I suppose I could say anything. But people generally talk about their interests, like books or movies or music. But I have nothing new or originial to say about any of the above. I could write a book review, only I haven't read any books that haven't been widely reviewed already. As far as music is concerned, I'm told I have the most random, diverse and cheesy taste in music ever. Likewise with movies.
What I am royally annoyed about is the fact that all of my favourite TV shows have finished up for the summer. All of them. The Office, Desperate Housewives, Scrubs (which could be over FOREVER!), Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill. Although granted, I really can't stand to watch OTH anymore. It's just so bloody cringe-worthy all the time. I believe I've mentioned this before, but Peyton is just THE most annoying person ever. And just when she had the chance to die, nope, she goes ahead and lives. I'm officially done with OTH. I hope Nathan moves over to Grey's Anatomy or something so I can still look at him. He might be all dull and boring these days, but the man is still eye candy. The Office is just as funny as ever. I used to prefer the UK version, but the more I see of A....
AH I'M SO ANNOYED!!!!! I had a whole rant written out and now it's been deleted because of my STUPID COMPUTER!!!!
It's probably better in the long run. The world is better off without my rants.

May 1st, 2009
11:16 pm - Happy May Day! I haven't posted here in a while, and since I'm looking for an excuse not to study for my exams (which are starting next week!), this seems like the best thing to do.
I've planned out all of Still Delicate, and despite the fact that I promised myself that it wouldn't be as long as Delicate, I have planned 35 chapters exactly. Lucky number 35. It's a bit darker than Delicate, but then again Legally Blonde would look dark compare to Delicate. I hope to get a good few chapters written over the summer break and I'm also hoping to start work on an original piece. But who knows where that'll end up - probably in the recycle bin like so much I've written!
I still find it completely strange the amount of reviews Still Delicate is getting. I read all of them, I really do. I know some people think I don't, but I do and I enjoy each and every one (except for the odd few offensive ones...but you have to deal with that if you're going to put your work out there). I've recently discovered a Harry Potter Fanon Wikipedia and there are pages on it for my stories (and loads of other fics). I didn't actually put my stories on there, so check and see if yours are there. You can find it here - add your own stories! It's fun!
I haven't added anything to Duplicity in ages, and I probably won't until I have Still Delicate finished. It's not a story I intended to update all that frequently anyway, and since most people don't particularly like Founders Era, there won't be a huge demand for updates. I'm also thinking of changing the title.
Anyhoo, that's all from me for now. Happy May Day! The summer is finally here! :)

11:24 pm - Sorry guys... Yep, I've gone and done it! I've officially abandoned Heartbeats. I don't think it seems fair for me to keep it in a state of 'Hiatus', keeping the hopes of the readers up when realistically, it's never going to be updated. I just lost all inspiration I thought I had for it and if I kept going, it would just turn into a rubbish, pointless piece of nothingness. I don't even feel in touch with any of the characters anymore. And this abandonment has been coming for a while now, so I hope nobody is too shocked by it!
On another note, to those who are beginning to become very annoyed by Rose's behaviour in 'Still Delicate', then don't worry because that was my intention. You'll soon realise that you're not the only one becoming annoyed with her. :) But never fear, she'll get better!
I can't believe the response, by the way. Five chapters with 995 reviews??? Pinch me please, am I dreaming??!

12:53 am - Happy New Year!
Hey Hey Hey! Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all kicked off 2009 with a bang – I know I did! Can you believe it’s really ’09? Where is time going??? It’s a whole year since I started writing Delicate! Time flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it?
Enough clichés. I just watched the latest episode of One Tree Hill online (considering it won't be on TV in the UK for ages!) and it was pretty good. Is it just me or was OTH better back in the days of the Brooke-Lucas-Peyton triangle and the Chris Keller-Nathan Scott feud? Back when there was a car accident every second episode, and crazy Derek trying to rid the world of Peyton once and for all? Because let's face it, the world would be a brighter place with out her. Well, the One Tree Hill world would be. I miss the bad-boy Nathan, not this new friendly family guy we see in the new season. Throw a punch, dammit! Who cares what Haley says? Also, what happened to Dan? Where did he go? Did I miss something? I liked Dan. He brought some action! He was my third favourite character, next to Chris Keller and Nathan! And as for Mouth, I wish someone would just put that kid out of his misery. There is always something wrong with Mouth. Someone is always dumping him - has he ever been with someone who hasn't dumped him, and who he hasn't been in love with? And where did crazy Deb go? She was fun too!
Enough One Tree Hill rambling.
The sequel to Delicate is up and running. I can't believe the response it's gotten already. Thanks guys! I have some good ideas for it, and if people are wondering, there will be some familiar faces returning in future chapters. That's all I'm saying. I'm not sure how long Still Delicate's going to be, but it'll be somewhere between Novella and Novel. That's a bit broad, I know!
As far as Heartbeats goes, I'm afraid I'm not any closer to finishing chapter 6 than I was the last time I posted here. INSPIRATION! I need inspiration! I don't want to have to abandon it, because I know some people do want to know what happens next. I might just have to restart it. I don't think I can juggle two stories at once, as well as keep up with my own personal 'real life' stuff, so Heartbeats is just going to have to say on Hiatus for a little bit longer. Sorry!
I've started reading the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy and am in the middle of The Golden Compass. I can't believe I never read it before! It's enthralling! I can't put it down! I have a whole stack of books I have to read, including The Secret Life of Bees, The Book Thief and The Tales of Beedle The Bard. Yep, that's right, I haven't read Beedle yet! It shouldn't take me too long, if I can just drag myself away from The Golden Compass. I’ve sort of become obsessed with the film ‘Enchanted’ this Christmas. I thought I wouldn't like it, but I gave it a chance and James Marsden is just so funny. I crack up every time! Also, people are telling me that Healer Kennedy from Still Delicate reminds them of that guy who’s in Enchanted but is also in Grey’s Anatomy? Patrick Dempsey I think his name is. I don’t actually watch Grey’s Anatomy, but I don’t really see Kennedy as looking like him. But whatever you want to imagine! I see him as more of a Ross from Friends kinda guy for some reason...except of course Healer Kennedy is a REAL doctor. :D
Also, my new thing is Andrea Bocelli. I don't know why.

01:20 pm - So it's been a while...
I haven't posted anything up here in ages! Two whole months - sorry about that! I've been busy with college and the likes, and also I've posted quite a bit of Delicate. There are only two chapters left now, so I want to plan and write them carefully! No point in getting sloppy so close to the end! I've never completed a long story before, out of all the stuff I've written, not just on HPFF but just on my computer. I never seem to be able to find an ending. But I suppose the ending for Delicate was always going to be clear, concise and obvious - she gives birth! As far as the sequel goes, I'm still considering it, but not completely sure about it. It won't be until the New Year anyway, even if I do decide to go ahead with it. I have a pretty good idea for it, so we'll see!
As far as Heartbeats goes, I have hit a complete road block, and I can't seem to knock it down. I've written out Chapter 6 about twenty times and deleted every one of them! Each one were stale and boring, so I'll need to take it in a different direction if I want to continue. Hopefully I'll get some inspiration soon. Until then I hope all Heartbeats readers will bear with me! On another note, I read Malorie Blackman's fourth book in the 'Noughts & Crosses' series, Double Cross. I have to say I really enjoyed it, even if it was intended for readers slightly younger than myself! Then again, I read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz the other week and had a blast with it! I think Double Cross is very like the first book, Noughts and Crosses, mainly because Tobey is so very like Callum and Callie-Rose is like Sephy (except silghtly more stubborn and worldly - Sephy was quite naive at the beginning). Personally, I love the first one and it'll always be my favourite, but I have to say that Double Cross is a close second. I read it in a day. If you haven't read the series, I strongly suggest you do. It goes Noughts & Crosses, Knife Edge, Checkmate, Double Cross. However, they're not really suitable for younger readers - the contain bad language, violence, sex scenes, racism...but they're still fantastic. READ THEM! I'm not sure if I'll get to post here again before Christmas comes, so if I don't MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Current Mood: excited

11:56 am - SO excited! Delicate has officially made it into the Best of HPFF! I'm too excited for words! It's number 10 in the top 10 most favourited stories! THANK YOU to everyone who has favourited it! Yay!!!!
Also, keep up the reviewing! I was a bit bad this week, but I'm going to review loads next week, promise!

03:26 pm - Reviews I'm sure you've all heard about the problems HPFF has been experiencing, and you probably know at this stage that many reviews have been lost from loads of stories. So let's get reviewing! Of my stories, Delicate lost over 1400 reviews, while Heartbeats lost almost 140. Please help me to get them back by reviewing as much as you can!
And don't just review my stories - review everything you read! So many authors have been disappointed, so get those fingers typing! (I know I will!) Even if they're just short, to the point reviews, write them anyway. You'll brighten up that author's day!
And just to let you know, I've begun writing Chapter 26 of Delicate and will try to post it within the next week or so.
Happy reviewing!

07:32 pm - HPFF experiencing some problems...
I don't know if anyone's been on HPFF recently, but it appears that everything has been deleted from it and the forums aren't working. I'm not panicking though I'm sure it'll be up and running in no time! *crosses fingers*
What a busy few weeks! What with moving and college and everything my life has been really hectic, but I still will always have time for my fics (two chapters posted in one week, not bad!) I'm currently about 1/5 of the way through chapter 26, I'll probably post it at the weekend. Does anyone actually know what's up with HPFF? Let me know if ya do! :)
Again, I'm so sorry about not replying to reviews! Maybe some day when I have nothing to do and when Delicate is all finished I can go back and respond to every single one. I respond in my head, I just dont always have time to write back! If anyone really needs to know something they can always visit my MTA page - I always reply. :)
I've made a soundtrack for both of my fanfics - if anyone has any other ideas, feel free to post them here or in a review :) These are in no particular order. I suggest you look up the songs and listen to them, they're really good!

11:32 pm - Just to clear some stuff up... Some people in reviews have been telling me that they're quite confused as to who's who in the Next Generation. Here are the families as they appear in Delicate - they're all canon except for Neville - he married Hannah Abbot. :)
Bill and Fleur - Victoire, Dom, Louis
Charlie - No kids
Percy and Audrey - Molly, Lucy
Fred - RIP
George and Angelina - Fred, Roxanne
Ron and Hermione - Rose, Hugo
Ginny and Harry - James, Al, Lily
Luna and Rolf - Lorcan, Lysander
Neville and Courtney *not canon* - Simon
Hope that clears some stuff up!

01:13 am - Have Finished My Delicate Plan!
I am uber excited! I have finished planning out the rest of 'Delicate' and it will be 36 chapters! That's not set in stone, by the way, because I could end up either adding another chapter or two, or even taking away one if I merge to chapters together, but my rough estimate is 36 chapters! Now all I have to do is make a plan for Heartbeats and I'll be flying!
I have one little question though...who should be Rose's baby's godfather? Al, Hugo or Teddy? I can't seem to decide, so if you want to post your thoughts here or in a review that'd be marvellous! Also, I have some thoughts on Heartbeats...I'm thinking of writing it not just about Teddy and Vic's time at Hogwarts, but about their whole lives. I like the pace it's going at, but I'll probably slow it down a bit for the important parts. When I've finished Delicate completely (which won't be for at least another 5 months, as I do have another 13 chapters planned out), I think I'm going to write a Marauder's story. Not your typical clichéed one, hopefully. I've always been interested in the Marauders, but I seem to be really hooked on the Next Generation! HPFF Story Recommendation: A Turn of the Tide - absolument Song Recommendation: Chicago - Sufjan Stevens Movie Recommendation: Airplane! 01:52 am - I Can't Sleep *yawn*
Yesterday I came home from my trip to London - twas fun! Now that I'm back, I can concentrate on writing Chapter 24 of Delicate and Chapter 5 of Heartbeats, both of which have already been started. Next week I'll be quite busy (I know, I'm like a broken record!) because I'm moving away to college! Fun! But don't worry, I'll write whenever I have free time. I love to write and I won't forget my stories. Promise!
I notice that some people are getting a bit frustrated that I haven't answered my reviews, but I really have had no time lately! I'm getting over 100 reviews on each chapter of Delicate lately, which is so overwhelmingly amazing for me, but I just can't physically reply to them all! So if you really want me to respond to one, maybe write it in the review that you'd like to hear back. But I promise that I DO read all reviews, and I appreciate them all, long or short.
HPFF Story Recommendation: As Stupid As Me - HPsmartone32 Song Recommendation: The River - Bruce Springsteen (also see music below) Movie Recommendation: Man On The Moon
Quote of the day: "Imagination is more important than knowledge" - Albert Einstein I should really sleep now. It's 2am. Also, to answer a question on Delicate that has been asked a few times - yes I have decided on the gender of the baby. However, it could end up changing at the last minute, so my lips are sealed. I'd hate to ruin the surprise for Rose :D

01:09 pm - Wow, it's been a while! So I haven't posted here in quite some time! Okay, here goes...
Basically I've been really busy recently with holidays, exam results, writing, reviewing and driving! But luckily I got into college, passed my driving test and have submitted a new chapter for Delicate - yay! I've also completed around half of chapter 5 of Heartbeats. So yes, busy busy! I'm going on holidays again on Sunday 24th August until Saturday 30th August, so I won't be updating. Sorry! I'll update as soon as I can :)
Okay, some Delicate news. I've been thinking about doing another Scorpius POV in a future chapter, but I'm not too sure about it yet. I think it might be a nice break from the mile-a-minute thoughts of Rose Weasley! So hopefully that will work out, but who knows?
I'm thinking Delicate will be more than 27 chapters, but probably no more than 33. I have the plot pretty much planned, but there's still three months of pregnant fun to go before the baby comes! I thought I might post a little preview from chapter 23, as the queue is quite long at the minute. CAUTION: spoilers!
“Have you seen Scorpius?” I ask frantically. “Not since…” she trails off. “Not since when?” I snap. She shifts uncomfortably. “Not since I saw him chatting to one of my distant cousins outside a while ago.” I know which one it is. It’s the one he was looking at during the ceremony. Instead of getting upset about this, I go the other way – insanely angry. “Oh no she doesn’t,” I growl to myself, “I saw him first…” I storm out of the marquee, like someone with a mission. Scorpius isn’t outside, but the girl I know he’s been chatting with is. It takes all of my will power not to take out my wand and curse her pretty blonde head off. I approach her with such force and confidence that she raises her eyebrows at me in a very cynical and patronising way. “Excuse me,” I smile sweetly to her, “You know the boy you were talking to? With the blonde hair?” “Scorpeeus?” she asks. “That’s the one,” I say, “See this?” I point to my stomach, “It’s his. So don’t even bother trying.”
“Zat is ‘is baybee?” she nods to my stomach. “Yes indeed it is,” I say, “And also, he has an extremely obsessive foot fetish, I really don’t think you want to get involved with the likes of him.”
